Amsterdam, 4 September 2026 – Cuez releases Cuez Admin at IBC2026, along with expanded capabilities for Rundown, Storydesk and Automator. They address the fragmentation broadcasters face when targeting multiple audiences on multiple platforms, as the NRCS now connects newsroom operations, station group infrastructure, and studio automation. This centralization eliminates manual handoffs while remaining open to industry standards and broadcasting hardware.
Cuez now integrates with any AI model through MCP. Newsrooms can apply AI to workflows including filtering incoming news, story creation, fact-checking, metadata management, searching related stories through embeddings, report generation and so on. Storydesk also aggregates news from multiple sources such as news wires, email inboxes, and RSS feeds, delivering stories directly to the platform where journalists work.
Cuez brought collaborative rundowns to this industry early, but the Rundown now takes cloud collaboration all the way into the story itself. The script is now one document where concurrent users see each other's cursors and edits in real time, within the same item. The revamp also introduces slash commands that let producers insert story blocks, assign presenters, or add inline instructions without using menus, enabling a mouse-less experience.
It’s Cuez Automator who transforms said rundown into timed studio automation, controlling equipment during live broadcast without manual intervention. This studio automation platform was recently expanded with new integrations with MXMZ, EVS VIA-MAP, Grass Valley K Frame, VizRT graphics, BlackMagic Design Fairlight, Dante Controller, Canon PTZ cameras, Vinten VRC, Tascam audio recorders, Chyron graphics, Harmonic Spectrum X servers, Allen & Heath mixing consoles, Sony XVS switchers, and many more.
Cuez Admin provides centralized management for media companies operating multiple stations and subsidiaries. The software enables sharing between newsdesk, organisation, local stations, from automation presets, news articles, language models, MAM-systems and news feeds. Individual stations can configure their own branding, naming conventions, publish points, and user permissions to customize the inherited shared resources.
Together, these releases provide an integrated answer for broadcast operations handling multiple distribution channels and audience segments. Newsmakers can work from a single application connecting news sources, asset creation, distribution points, and AI-assisted workflows. Stories created in Storydesk can be published directly to a broadcaster's rundown, where studio automation handles production operations.
Cuez is inviting everyone for a demo at their IBC booth (6.A23) or at www.cuez.app.
