Mapcreator
Mapcreator is a mapping platform for broadcast-ready animated and live-data maps. Cuez Browz connects to it directly.
Build custom maps without leaving your rundown. Create static, interactive, or animated maps straight from the story you're working on, then send them to air in HD or 4K.
Maps stay broadcast-ready throughout. Animations are OGraf-compatible, giving you real-time control during a live show, whether you're covering breaking news, an election, or an unfolding story.
Cuez and Mapcreator both build cloud-first and ship fast. And we both start from the same question: what does the person on deadline actually need in the next ninety seconds?
We believe a map should be as ordinary in a newsroom as a lower third: available to everyone, on brand, correct, and ready before the story goes to air.
How it works in practice
Open the Episode in Cuez Rundown. Add a Graphic element to your item and select Mapcreator. Search for the location, set the zoom and send the finished map automatically back into the rundown.
About Mapcreator
Mapcreator began as Maps4News in 2008 as a print-focused cartography tool. In 2019 the company consolidated its tools under a single name, Mapcreator, providing an easy-to-use yet high-quality map creation platform for everyone that needs maps in their daily work.
Today, newsrooms and other teams create thousands of maps weekly. CBS, RTL, NOS, CBC and many more, use Mapcreator for everything from daily locator maps for breaking news, to interactive online embeds for storytelling, to live election-night graphics.
