Switch is a long-running quiz show by Panenka production house, screened by VRT, with a unique concept. It has no points, no rankings, and no traditional competition. Instead, it focuses on fun, surprise, and generosity. Now in its seventh season, the show has recorded more than 300 episodes and given away hundreds of thousands of euros along the way.
For the editorial and production team, working on Switch often feels less like a job and more like a game.

Of course, live and studio production always comes with pressure. The team openly talks about stress, but they describe it as manageable and even healthy.
“There is stress, of course. But it is a constant, mild kind of stress. Nothing overwhelming.”
What helps is the ability to keep adjusting the show right up until the last moment.
In a production where people, content, and technology all interact, things can go wrong. According to the team, TinkerList was the one element they could always count on.
“Because the interface is so easy to use, we can change things up to the very last minute before recording, and that does not make it stressful. It actually helps.”

With reliable tools and a strong team, the focus stays where it should be: on making a show that brings joy to viewers.
“We hope people feel happy watching Switch. That is really the goal,” the team says.
And judging by the energy on set, that feeling starts well before the show ever reaches the audience.
