Cuez for TV Production at RITCS

Disclaimer: TinkerList is the former name of what is now known as Cuez.

At RITCS, students in the Professional Bachelor Audiovisual Arts program learn to work in real production environments where collaboration is essential. For Marie-Lou Obdeijn, a final-year student specialising in film and TV production, that became especially clear while producing a multi-camera TV show during the Covid period, when teams were spread across different locations.

One Shared Program Across Locations

“We could still make one program, even though one group was here in the studio and another group was working somewhere else,” Marie-Lou explains.

Using Cuez by TinkerList, students coordinated scripts, structure, and timing in one shared program. Even when working remotely, they could see how different teams were progressing and adjust their own work accordingly, which helped keep the production aligned across locations.

“You really learn how the program works by actually using it together with other people.”

Learning How to Create Shows Together in a Team

Marie-Lou describes the platform as easy to learn and well-suited for teamwork.

“It is very user-friendly and very intuitive. You are not left with thousands of versions of the same document. Everything is just there online,” she says.

Having one shared production tool allowed students to work together at school and from home, see updates made by others, and focus on collaboration rather than managing files or versions.
